Snowbound is coming back! #SixSentenceSunday!

Good Morning all!

Today, I would like to announce that Snowbound part of the Rosewood Pack series, will be making its return to shelves later this fall/early winter.

As a sneak treat, I thought it only appropriate to share a little snippet of the story. Enjoy!

“You’re in Rosewood.”

An image of a snow covered wooden sign flashed through her mind. “I saw the sign.”

“I’m guessing you hadn’t meant to stop here?”

“Well…the storm.” She shrugged. “I had to stop or get stuck in it.”

“You’ve been here three days.”

The bacon settled in her stomach like a lead weight. “Three days?”

“Caleb said to let you sleep as much as you needed. Darlin’ you looked rough when I got you here.”

The way “darlin’” rolled off his tongue, had her insides turning to goo. “I see. And, my car?”

“Trashed. It’s a mangled pile of metal.”

Despair filled her. Now what would she do? “Oh.”

“Thorne did happen to bring your bag. Is there anyone I can call for you?”

She shook her head. “No. I don’t have anyone.”

A low sound, almost like a growl emanated from him. Or at least she thought it had. “You’re alone?”

“Yes.”

He cursed. “My home is your home. You may stay here if you wish. I’ll have Thorne assess your vehicle again, maybe he can fix it or has something suitable to replace it with.”

#SixSentenceSunday Bearing It All update!

Welcome to my new #SixSentenceSunday post. I took the week off last week due to needing a break. I have been working my fingers to the bone trying to bring you guys more reading material! Woo! Today, since Bearing It All has become a huge deal, like bigger than Sorority Row and Unrequited Mate, I thought I would share a little more! So, enjoy!

Whatever you’re telling yourself… Well, whatever it was, it flew out the window along with any of her self-preservation. Their words of love had seemed like going through the motions more than expressing them with heartfelt truth.

To her anyway.

For hours after he said he had to run again, she laid there, trying to convince herself “just because he said it, doesn’t mean he meant it.” Yet, having his naked body pressed to her—which she hadn’t realized she’d fallen asleep naked until he woke her—snapped another piece of her puzzle into place. A small voice in the back of her head said, yes, he meant what he said. Bodhi loved her. 

Why?

Of all the women he could have, he picked the chubby bear with the pear-shaped figure. She had curves where they weren’t meant to be and when she tried to lose the weight, it magically came back, like she was supposed to be chunky. Always the size sixteen, never the five.

Bodhi growled again. “What did I tell you about wandering away from me?” He pinched her nipple, drawing her attention to his face—his oh-so-beautiful-hurts-to-look-at-because-he-could-stop-her-heart, handsomeness. His blue eyes swirled with lust, and his lips were parted slightly. The wolf lurked within those depths, she could see him, waiting to get out. To lay claim.

“Sorry, I—”

#SixSentenceSunday ~ WIP Bearing It All - TSU

Welcome back to another week of #SixSentenceSunday...

Michele and I are so excited to first say, we've received the contract for Kalkin: Apache County Shifters. Kal will hit the stands, January 9th 2018! We can't wait for you to see Keeley and Kalkin's story!

Now, we are pleased to say we are back to work on our TSU series. Emma and Bodhi are getting their chance in the spotlight. We don't want to give too much away, but this story going to be one wild ride. We hope you enjoy it!

“I like a challenge, pinky,” he growled. His gaze darkened, swirling with desire and determination. It tickled her insides with arousal. “I’m going to kiss you now.”

“Here?” she squeaked.

“No time like the present,” he answered, leaning in. “Come here, Emma.”

Her cheeks flamed as the rough husky quality of his voice made her giddy with anticipation. He did like her. However, she didn’t want to get ahead of herself. 

When his lips touched hers, she sank into him. His arms wrapped around her, holding her close. She tasted the hint of his toothpaste and a lick of wildness. The desperate way he consumed her, startled her. Had he always wanted her with such fire? Passion? How had she missed this? Or did she read too much into this with him?

Bodhi sat back and a lazy smile crossed his lips. “Yep,” he said. If she thought he’d expand on the ‘yep,’ he didn’t. Rather, he changed the subject. “Hayden should be down soon. She has a day planned for you girls. Have fun, okay?”

“O—” she touched her mouth, then swallowed hard, trying to gather her tattered wits. “Okay…what are you going to do today?”

“Rapier and the guys have a few houses they’re working on, so I told them we’d help out.” He winked. “If you can get Hayden to bring you by the site…” He wiggled his brows. “Maybe you can cat-call us.”

She laughed. “Hell yeah.” The thought of seeing Bodhi shirtless, working in the warm spring sunshine, all ripped and sweaty swinging hammers and cutting wood. She let out a wistful sigh. Hell yeah.

Bodhi growled. “Whatever you’re thinking about, it must be good.” He adjusted himself on the couch. “Jesus, you’re so damn tempting.” He pressed a kiss to her forehead before standing. “I’ll see you later. Don’t forget. Cat-calls.”

Good morning everyone!

I thought I would share another snippet of Darkness Rises with you since it will be releasing soon in the London Calling box set. Next week, we will revealing the cover! So stay tuned!

“Then count yourself lucky.” He twisted the decanter in front of him. The red elixir slid down the sides to settle in the glass.

“This whole show then?”

“A new side effect of my affliction,” Jonah replied. “A disconcerting one.”

“Does the good Doctor know?”

He shook his head. “I was on my way to find all of you when—” He motioned to himself.

“Ah.” Andres nodded. “Better get dressed before Mummy sees you in such a state.” The corner of his mouth tilted upward while the sparkle of tomfoolery glittered his dark eyes.

With a curt nod, Jonah stood. “Could I trouble you to talk with Miss Jemmy?”

“I’ll make sure she’s right as rain.” The coquettish look he threw over his shoulder, at Jonah hadn’t gone unnoticed.

The man partook of anything with two legs and a willing hole. His adventures were, outrageous. His sexual appetite was rather…vulgar.

Pot meet kettle.

#SixSentenceSunday Art of Deception and an Announcement

Hi all and welcome to another week of Six Sentence Sunday!

Today I thought I would do something a little different.

I have been keeping this a secret for a few months now, but I am writing YA! I have a new pen name, JT Camp and it is with my best friend, Michele Ryan. We are writing a shifter serial. It will be three parts and a little over 60k words when it is finished.

Today, I would like to share with you part of Art of Deception. A little setup. Fallon has gotten herself into a pickle. See her parents have died and she is CONVINCED someone killed them. To the point, she is willing to risk her health to find the killer or killers. So, she did a bad thing, which got her in trouble. So, now she has to work with a team of Arrowfire members. An order of teens who protect paranormal beings and their community. As it stands, someone is collecting paranormal beings, and selling their "parts" on the black market. Which is a big no-no.

In this scene, Fallon is on her first stake out and the hilarity ensues. I hope you enjoy it. Art of Deception will be included in the Magic and Shadows: Young Adult Box Set, coming soon from Opal Moon Press, a division of Afterglows Publishing.

“Have you ever done any team building skills, Fallon?”

She snapped her head toward the other vampire in their group. “I failed the trust fall.”

“Seriously?” Disdain dripped from Grainger’s voice.

She gave a nonchalant lift of her shoulder. “Can’t help it, people take too long. I’ve got things to do.”

“Cold blooded.” Warren grinned. “I think we underestimated you.”

“I’m small and unassuming. I get it and don’t hold it against you.” She winked.

“This was a horrible idea.”

“Hey,” she whined. “I caught her, like an inch from the ground.” She curled her hand. “Tiger blood.”

Grainger sighed, completely exasperated by her. “I thought you said you failed.”

 “I did. She uh, she kind of hit her ankle on a rock and cracked it. Her ankle, not the rock.”
